We had a fantastic turn out at our AGM at Crawfordsburn Visitor Centre on Saturday 6th April 2019.
Our Chairperson, Karen Healy gave members an update on bat group activities over the past year. Treasurer, Eleanor Ballard outlined the group’s spending and income in 2018 and Records Secretary Catherine Reilly gave her update on the group’s bat record requests and submissions.
Everyone enjoyed tea and scones before our main speaker John Haddow gave a facinating talk on radio tracking Leisler’s bats in Scotland.
Young Fermanagh Naturalist, Dara McAnulty gave an inspiring speech on how environmental education plays a vital role at engaging young people with nature.
Thanks so much to everyone who came along and to all our members for their ongoing support.
